Hi, my name is Denise Scott. I grew up in the Portland metro area, near Failing and Vancouver, as the second oldest of five children. Raised by a strong single mother, we didn’t have much, but we always made the best of what we had. Those early experiences shaped my values resilience, compassion, and a drive to help others find clarity and truth.

Today, I bring those values into my work through Open Eye Genetics, a business focused on providing accessible, accurate DNA testing including paternity testing, ancestry, and health-related insights. Hello, my name is Denise Scott, and I’m the founder of Open Eye Genetics. Starting this business has been a deeply personal journey for me. The motivation behind starting my business came from I started Open Eye Genetics because I saw a need for accessible, reliable DNA testing that empowers individuals to understand their health, ancestry, and genetic traits. My goal is to provide clear, accurate insights that help people make informed decisions about their wellness, identity, and future. This business is about opening eyes to the power of genetics and using that knowledge to improve lives. I wanted to take that experience and turn it into a meaningful solution that helps others while allowing me to grow professionally and personally.
